After a two year hiatus from my novel writing (thanks to the interruption of a global pandemic), I’ve been easing my way back into my writing profession with HUGE projects, including the publication of my debut novel, ”FANTACY: Daughter of Fate.”
This is the first instalment in my Young Adult/Teenager Fantasy Trilogy and is expected to be released next summer! I am beyond ecstatic to finally be breaking the barriers of aspiring to emerging to PUBLISHED AUTHOR!
What can you expect from me in the meantime?
First and foremost, I am participating in NaNoWriMo which is short for National November Writing Month, a month during which a writer endeavours to write upwards of 1800 words each day with the goal of completing a novel. As you may already know, I have been writing a Contemporary Adult Fiction novel called, ”Straddling the Void,” and would like to finish the first draft before the end of the year.
“Straddling the Void,” is my Book Baby, the project I have dreamed of for years and have been pouring every inch of my heart and soul into creating. I had not intended on publishing my fantasy until after the release of, ”Straddling the Void,” since I thought to hit my debut with a literary PUNCH I felt would better represent my current writing style.
But why let my fantasy series collect dust when I could share it with the world as I work on my other projects?
“Fantacy,” is going through Beta Readers, sort of like test drivers for my book. These readers give feedback on my novel and anything that might need to be changed in the storyline before publication. By the end of 2021, I hope to have the first PROOF prints of my novel ready for review by established authors. Then I continue to market until release of the final product in both E-book and Paperback formats.
